What do you mean by 'this project?' I wanted to install MPlayer (as downloaded from 'sourceforge') but I was not able to get it to work on my iMac model 11.1 with OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard). The 'read me' instructions are vague and cryptic so I have no confidence that I did the right things. Curiously, they recommend running on the outdated Power Mac G4. Could it be that 'sourceforge' is providing an old version of MPlayer that won't run on my iMac 11.1? If so, your carelessness has wasted a lot of my time. I just wanted to hear audios on Wikipedia but I got hopelessly tangled up trying to get MPlayer working. It was Wikipedia that maliciously sent me to 'sourceforge' with what seem to be inaccurate instructions. Why they can't provide usable media like other web sites do is a mystery to me; unless they get perverse pleasure from making life difficult for ordinary users. I am such a user, not a techie (or whatever you user-unfriendly types like to be called). I'm giving up and slinking away as the outsider you've convinced me I am. Now I will waste more time trying to figure out how to unregister from 'sourceforge' because it seems to have been designed to purposely confound the likes of me--mission accomplished.
